Well, a couple weeks ago I realized the blog had been going for a solid year (in pelican form at least). It's been an interesting experiment and overall useful. I'm still working on my style and getting over some of the stage fright of sharing it with more than a small group of people. In the past couple days I've done a bit of clean up (got rid of that annoying > that was showing up at the top of the pages), changed the header color, added a couple static pages, and disqus comments.
Hopefully in the upcoming year I'll do some more in-depth posts and actually develop a reader base. I may also branch out of the lab realm, we'll just have to see.
